Silhouette Instalift® is an FDA-cleared thread lift procedure for tightening and firming the skin in the midface and jowls. It uses dissolvable sutures threaded underneath the skin’s surface to produce a natural-looking lifting effect for up to 2 years.

What Happens During Proper Treatment?
Silhouette Instalift® takes less than an hour. A consultation will be done prior to the treatment to brief you about the procedure, its benefits, and what you can expect after.
During the treatment proper, your provider will start by mapping your cheeks and jawline to identify the areas where the sutures will be placed.
Once the treatment area is identified, a local anesthetic will be injected to numb the area and to ensure that you’re comfortable all throughout the procedure.
After that, a proprietary needle will be used to thread the sutures under your skin and parallel to the surface. Then, the sutures will be pulled gently to lift the skin.The treated area will be massaged right after to ensure that the bi-directional cones are properly embedded.
Recovery and After-Care
At most, you’ll experience mild side effects such as tenderness in the treated area after the procedure. This is completely normal and will resolve on its own after a few days.
During the first week, you may need to eat soft foods to reduce the stress on the threads. It’s also recommended to avoid opening your mouth wide for at least 5-7 days.
